ABOUT DR. SELMAN MANUEL
Doctor of Nursing Practice–prepared Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Addictions Registered Nurse–Advanced Practice with
more than twenty years of progressive experience spanning professional nursing and advanced clinical practice. Extensive clinical
expertise across critical care, internal medicine, family medicine, addiction medicine, psychiatric and behavioral health, post-acute and
long-term care, and telemedicine.
Distinguished record of executive medical leadership with demonstrated success in quality assurance, regulatory compliance,
clinical program development, and interprofessional education. Nationally recognized for scholarship, advocacy, and professional
service, with an enduring commitment to health equity, patient safety, and evidence-based practice.
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2015 and DNP-prepared since 2019, with dual-state licensure and advanced
credentials (DNP, MSN, ARNP-CNP, FNP-C, PMHNP-C, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, CCRN-K, FIAAN, iDLP Fellow. Proven expertise in
managing complex and high-acuity medical and behavioral health conditions, leading multidisciplinary teams, and optimizing safe,
high-quality transitions of care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Clinical practice includes inpatient medical detoxification, outpatient addiction medicine, internal and family medicine, geriatric
care, and telehealth services, with sustained emphasis on performance improvement, regulatory readiness, and outcomes-driven
leadership. Currently completing a Post-Doctorate Certificate as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at the
University of Cincinnati, with anticipated graduation in April 2026.
